Her extensive training in evidence-based practices such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) equips her to offer effective, tailored treatment plans. Dr. Stratigis also integrates Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD, acknowledging that past coping patterns were once adaptive. She guides clients in identifying healthier ways to process and navigate uncomfortable emotions. Nurturing Wholeness: Healing Trauma & Embracing Identity and Values

Dr. Strategis integrates Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to offer profound benefits on your healing journey. EMDR, a technique that targets traumatic memories and negative beliefs, can help you process and integrate distressing experiences, leading to reduced emotional distress and improved overall well-being. CPT, on the other hand, focuses on restructuring unhelpful thoughts related to trauma, facilitating a shift in perspective, and promoting cognitive flexibility. Together, EMDR and CPT provide a powerful combination that allows you to effectively address past traumas, challenge negative beliefs, and develop healthier coping strategies. By working with a therapist skilled in these evidence-based modalities, you can experience significant relief from symptoms, increased self-awareness, and a renewed sense of empowerment as you navigate the path toward healing and personal growth.
