Training at Thrive

THRIVE’S TRAINING INSTITUTE

As therapists, our job isn’t just to see clients. While we make a difference in our individual clients’ lives, we also want to effect change beyond our offices. We challenged ourselves to think of ways to expand our skills, passion, and dedication to healing all women—and Thrive’s training program is the answer.

We have always prided ourselves on our clinicians, their expertise, and their enthusiasm for creating safe spaces within which women can grow into their best and most powerful selves. Training at Thrive is how we teach this model to a new generation of mental health providers, educating them on what it means to be affirmative, and empowering healers. Supervised directly by our licensed providers, our Associate Therapists and Psychology Externs provide the same high quality care you have come to expect from Thrive—at significantly less cost.

With our training program, we hope to make our healing work accessible to all women regardless of income or background, while simultaneously teaching the next generation of mental health providers what it means to do Therapy for the Modern Woman.

Can we help you on your healing journey?

Associate Therapists

Thrive Associates are therapists who have already earned their Master’s degree or Doctorate degree and are looking to gain more clinical experience as they work toward licensure. All Thrive Associates are chosen for their excellence in the field, their passion for their clients, and their commitment to being a force for change and empowerment for the women and communities we serve. All Associates are supervised by licensed psychologists and undergo intensive training at Thrive. Associates charge $150-$225 per 50-minute session.
