"While we are all human beings, we have diverse identities, some of which are invisible and marginalized, impacting how we exist in the world. I strive towards cultural humility and attempt to create an environment of curiosity and safety so clients can express how their various identities interact with each other and the communities and systems in which they exist. I work hard to challenge systemic barriers which cause harm and limit clients from truly thriving in their lives. Some of my strongest values are fairness, equity, and justice, and I strive to advocate for others to move closer to these every day. I am personally invested in doing the work of antiracism, dismantling white supremacy, and always learning and growing to understand my own areas of power and privilege as a mixed, white-presenting Indian American woman." – Tamara Rumburg, Psy.D.
